Tobi Taylor, M.S. is a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges with strength and resilience. She earned her B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Community Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas and is licensed by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Tobi is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches when helpful.
Tobi believes strongly in preventative mental health and in reducing the stigma that can surround therapy. She views emotional struggles, whether related to stress, grief, trauma, or life transitions, as experiences that deserve the same dignity, care, and respect as physical health challenges. For her, the therapeutic relationship is a partnership built on trust and mutual respect, which she sees as the foundation of successful healing and growth.
In addition to her clinical work, Tobi has led workshops on stress management, building healthy friendships and relationships for teens, parenting strategies, and sexuality education. She has experience addressing a wide range of concerns, including trauma, abuse, addictions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, disruptive behaviors, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and family dynamics. Her approach is supportive and empowering, helping clients not only overcome difficulties but also grow into the person they were created to be.
