Melissa Moix, M.S.

Melissa Moix, M.S. is a licensed Psychological Examiner with the Arkansas Psychology Board and a School Psychology Specialist with the Arkansas Department of Education. She earned her master’s degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas and has over 15 years of experience working in both public and private schools as well as private practice. She is an active member of the National Association of School Psychologists and the Arkansas School Psychology Association.

Melissa has extensive training and experience in the assessment and treatment of learning disabilities, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. She is also highly skilled in evaluating ADHD, helping children, adolescents, and adults gain a better understanding of their challenges and secure the academic or workplace accommodations they need to succeed. Families often seek her out when they want clear, practical answers that connect testing results to real-world supports.

In addition to her expertise in learning and attention concerns, Melissa is known for her warm therapeutic style. Often called “the anxiety whisperer,” she has an exceptional track record of helping children overcome anxiety, including selective mutism, and guiding families through the process with patience and encouragement. Her goal is always to create a supportive, empowering environment where individuals feel understood and capable of moving forward with confidence.
